Christ is the Answer 862

The I D stands for Intentional Disciples. The 9:16 refers to 1st Corinthians Chapter 9 verse 16. “For I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.”

Just as Christ and his original disciples were radicals in the eyes of the Roman authorities who made it illegal to be a Christian for the first three centuries, Christ is calling us to be radical in our following of Him while living in our present society. The brothers and sisters who make up the id916 Communities of Intentional Disciples, are responding to that same call to be radical for Christ – our older brother.
